Well, the results are in an I have received a good strong overall mark of 67% for the Introduction to Film Culture unit, which compares with my 68% for Expressing Your Vision.
The assessor’s comments were encouraging and I was happy they saw my progress through the Unit. They have expressed that should I “continue to study film culture then moving forward, as well as referencing key theorists, we would like to see you begin to explore much more complex concepts within your writing and begin to offer more individual insights and observations. It would also be good to see you utilising your visual photographic skills with the inclusion of more visual examples from the films you are discussing.” This gives food for thought and reflection as I am considering adding more from the moving image in level 2.
